There is no waste water generated like with a reverse osmosis, and the system will not remove minerals. This system will give you the best filtered water quality with no downside. Periodic flushing of the UF membrane is recommended to remove contaminants, and a backwash valve is built into the system. The system is housed neatly in a box that can be mounted under a sink. Maintenance and filter changes are simple processes.
