Activated Carbon filters can trap and absorb organic chemicals and chlorine from the water effectively with its ability of mechanical filtration and physical adsorption. It can efficiently remove odors and improve the water taste. Furthermore, the iSpring 2nd stage Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) filter (FG15) includes special carbon media that filters out impurity in the water, which can efficiently protect and prolong the lifespan of the reverse osmosis membrane.
